Surprisingly Outstanding

There are so many negative reviews for HD antennas and the price does not seem to make a difference, so I bought the lowest-priced one that has some positive REAL reviews. For the last 2 years, all I have had was Prime and Netflix. All I was hoping for was the local network affiliates, FOX, NBC, CBS, and ABC. The antenna was a lot smaller than I expected and not as pictured. The one I received was clear and tan, not black, but that was a better match for my brick. I am 35 to 40 miles to the major station towers. I hooked it up, taped it to a window, ran a scan, and got nothing. I turned on the amplifier, ran a scan, and to my amazement I had over 40 channels. I was hoping to mount it behind the TV, but I could not pick up anything. I tried several spots and found the best place where the wire was not in the way was high up on the fireplace. It will not stick to brick so I put a pin nail in the mortar, stuck a piece of styrofoam on the nail, to keep the antenna off of the brick, peeled off the tape covering the adhesive, and stuck the antenna to the styrofoam. I am not crazy about the wire showing, but I think if I paint the wire to match the brick and run it in the corner it will not be too noticeable. P.S. I have a Vizio smart TV and they DO NOT have a built-in turner to connect an antenna to. You will need to buy a converter box ($30) like the one sitting on my Blu-ray disk player in the picture.

Came quickly, does what it it’s supposed to do. It’s ‘plug & play’ so there’s no figuring out what to do, other than having your TV scan for channels. I didn’t realize that there were so many versions of the basic four networks. That was a very nice surprise. We live in an urban area, with the farthest tower 11 miles away. I can see living farther from the towers might be a problem. The farthest tower is a bit choppy at times, but not often. I will upgrade to a stronger/better indoor antenna later, but for now this one is fine. beware: the suction cups don’t want to stick very well. We had to do the ‘get them wet’ trick.

Very easy to install and with the long cable I was able to stick it on an outside wall. Since it is a beige color it blends in with my beige walls unlike other ones we had that only came in black. Great little thing for little money.

I stream lots of great movies and shows via Prime, but live real time channels keep me connected to the world and in the know. I’m also a fan of not paying for TV and not relying on the internet for all my entertainment. I live in the Northern California flatlands fairly close to metropolitan areas so I didn’t see the need to buy a high power expensive antenna. Not only is this little antenna inexpensive, it works! It picks up about 24 channels, a dozen of which I watch, local news, classic TV shows, funny home videos, channels only available via antenna. If you live in a good reception area, I highly recommend!

I figured how good could it be for like 10 bucks. But I was wrong I live up in the mountains east coast I can attend the more channels but now they’re all crystal clear very very surprised well worth the money if you’re reading this invest in it !!
Yes you have to move it different places better reception. It has a very long cord also attach to the antenna

Works pretty well. I like that the actual antenna is kind of a clear frosted look because it is less conspicuous in the window. I found more channels after doing a channel search several times but I’m still missing a few local channels I know I should get so I don’t think it really goes 75 miles out. Probably 50 though. Don’t use the double sided sticky tape it comes with. I still have some stuck to my window and it weakened the signal. Ended up using regular clear packing tape on the wire and it is working fine. For the price it worth it.

This antenna works just like I hoped. It’s easy to install and picks up signal perfectly. No reason to spend a ton of money on something similar.
The flatness is very discreet and makes keeping it concealed very easy so you get a nice clean look.
Installation takes about 2 minutes and the hardest part is finding a good way to run the wires so it’s all hidden.
The instructions were pretty poor (worse than Ikea), but if you can assemble one of those pieces, this is a cake walk to follow.

Didn’t pull all local channels

So I was able to find a map showing where all my local tv stations were in relation to my home. All were within a 15 mile radius. So this purchase was a no brainer, unfortunately it did NOT pull those ALL those stations in. I tried in 2 different rooms placing the antenna in various spots near the windows.
Returned the antenna for a full refund.
I did a bit more searching and ended up purchasing a Channel Master FLATenna 35, installed and was able to pull in All the local channels and of course several several more.
So nay to this antenna and yea to the Channel Master.
